Hi! My name is Jessica Bauer and in the fall of 1996, I was offered a position at Springhurst Elementary School as a k-5 Computer Teacher. I immediately accepted the position and have been teaching technology ever since. My goal is to always create a fun and safe learning environment for your children and to get them ready for the fast-paced, ever-changing world of Technology.

I was born and raised in Hastings-on-Hudson and I loved everything about growing up in a small river town.  I graduated with a bachelor's degree from college in 1992 and I obtained a master’s degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Information Technology in 1997.  I never stop learning and I am always taking classes on the current trends and changes regarding educational technology. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy sailing, traveling, and knitting. It would also not be uncommon for me to be frequently tinkering on the computer :-)
