Board of Education Welcomes Public Comment on the Proposed "Cell Phone" Policy
The board of education welcomes public comment on the proposed Policy 5695: Students and Electronic Devices ("the cell phone policy"), which is linked below, as is the presentation by the policy committee. Members of the school community, including parents/guardians, district residents, students, and staff, may send comments to policy@dfsd.org by July 18, 2025. The board's policy committee will consider timely public comments in preparation of the policy for review by the full board. We anticipate that the review will take place in late July 2025 at a special meeting of the board. We will send notice of the time, date, and place of the public meeting after July 9.
