  • 2025/2026 BUDGET INFORMATION

    School Budget Vote & Trustee Elections
    Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Board Member Terms of Office

     

    Three (3) terms of office of the Dobbs Ferry Board of Education will be expiring on June 30, 2025.

     

    Forms for petitions to run for a seat on the Board of Education are available at the District Office and/or can be downloaded here: Candidate School Board Packet

     

    Petitions to run as a candidate for the School Board next year must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025. Twenty-five signatures of registered voters in the district are required.

     

    Personal Voter Registration

     

    Any community resident not registered with the Westchester County Board of Elections may do so during Personal Registration which will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025 between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM in the HS Gymnasium Foyer.  Voter Qualifications: (1) Must be a citizen of the United States; (2) Must be 18 years of age or older; (3) Must have been a resident of the school district for a period of 30 days or more prior to May 20, 2025.     Voting by Mail: Absentee and Early Mail ballots

     

    To vote by mail, you must first submit an Application for an Absentee or Early Mail ballot. Applications may be downloaded from the website at the links below, or they may be requested by emailing the District Clerk at districtclerk@dfsd.org or in writing to the District Clerk at 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Applications for Absentee or Early Mail Ballots may be submitted on or after April 21, 2025. The Application must be printed, signed in ink by the voter, and returned either in person or by mail to the Office of the District Clerk. Application must be received by 2:00 pm on May 13, 2025 if the ballot will be mailed to the voter, or by 4:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2025 if the ballot will be picked up in person by the voter or his/her designee.

    • Absentee and Early Mail ballots must be received in person or U.S. Mail at the District Office, 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 no later than 5:00 PM on May 20, 2025.

    Términos de la Oficina del Miembro de la Junta

     

    Tres (3) períodos de miembros de la Junta de Educación de Dobbs Ferry expiran el 30 de junio de 2025.

     

    Los formularios para peticiones para postularse para un puesto en la Junta de Educación están disponibles en la Oficina del Distrito.   Las solicitudes para postularse como candidatas para la Junta Escolar el próximo año deben presentarse antes del cierre de operaciones el lunes, 21 de abril de 2025. Se requieren veinticinco firmas de votantes registrados en el distrito.

      

    Registro personal de votantes

     

    Cualquier residente de la comunidad no sido registrados con la Junta de Elecciones del condado de Westchester puede hacerlo durante el durante el registro personal que tendrá lugar el lunes 12 de mayo de 2025 15:30-19:30 en el Vestíbulo del gimnasio de la escuela secundaria.   Calificaciones de los votantes:  (1) Debe ser ciudadano de los Estados Unidos; (2) Debe ser mayor de 18 años; (3) Debe haber sido un residente del distrito escolar por un período de 30 días o más antes de mayo de 20, 2025.     Votación por correo: boletas en ausencia y por correo anticipado

     

    Para votar por correo, primero debe enviar una Solicitud de boleta de voto ausente o por correo anticipado. Las solicitudes se pueden descargar del sitio web en los enlaces a continuación, o se pueden solicitar enviando un correo electrónico al Secretario del Distrito a Districtclerk@dfsd.org o por escrito al Secretario del Distrito en 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522. Solicitudes para Ausente o Temprano Las boletas por correo se pueden enviar a partir del 21 de abril de 2025. La solicitud debe imprimirse, firmarse con tinta por el votante y devolverse en persona o por correo a la Oficina del Secretario del Distrito. La solicitud debe recibirse antes de las 2:00 p. m. del 13 de mayo de 2025 si la boleta se enviará por correo al votante, o antes de las 4:00 p. m. del lunes 19 de mayo de 2025 si el votante recogerá la boleta en persona o su designado.

     

    • Las boletas en ausencia y por correo anticipado deben recibirse en persona o por correo de EE. UU. en la oficina del distrito, 505 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 a más tardar a las 5:00 p. m. del 20 de mayo de 2025.

    Voting for school board members is a simple but powerful way to support student success and strengthen your community.
